Indian Premier League (IPL) teams have finalized their retentions for the 2025 season ahead of the October 31st deadline.
According to the revamped Retention rules, a franchise can retain a maximum of six players, either in the retention phase by October 31 or through the Right-To-Match (RTM) card during the IPL 2025 mega auction. The retentions can feature a maximum of five capped and two uncapped players.
The retention slabs for the capped players are as follows:
