The Punjab government has announced free travel for individuals with disabilities on the Orange Line Train and Metro Bus.
According to a Metro Bus Authority spokesperson, people with a Himmat Card can travel for free on both services. To receive their ticket they need to show their Himmat Card at the ticket counter.
This free travel service is available every day of the week, making it more convenient for special individuals to travel. The administration has confirmed that all Himmat Card holders can get this service without charges.
The Himmat Card, provided by the government, offers multiple support services for people with disabilities, including this new free travel option.
