Federal Minister for Industries and Production Rana Tanveer Hussain has praised Nestlé’s efforts in advancing Pakistan’s packaged food exports, acknowledging the company’s recent success in reaching 26 countries and generating USD 23 million in export revenue in 2024. Iconic brands like NESTLÉ FRUITA VITALS, EVERYDAY, and MILKPAK CREAM now bring Pakistani products to diverse markets across Europe, North America, the Middle East, and Asia.
At the recent “Limitless Possibilities” event in Islamabad, Nestlé unveiled its ambitious vision to grow exports to USD 50 million by 2030. Minister Hussain highlighted Nestlé’s positive economic impact, noting how the company’s expansion supports the government’s focus on bolstering foreign reserves. “As Pakistan moves toward economic growth, the role of exports is increasingly essential,” he said. “With Nestlé’s global reach, we expect even greater export potential for Pakistan in the coming years.”
Nestlé Pakistan CEO Jason Avanceña marked the company’s 35th year in Pakistan, affirming Nestlé’s commitment to driving economic growth through increased exports and foreign revenue. Avanceña emphasized the company’s strategic growth through partnerships with major global retailers like Costco, Sobeys, and Sainsbury’s. He also underscored the need for streamlined regulatory support, fair trade agreements, and export incentives as Nestlé pursues its 2030 targets.
Swiss Embassy Chargé d’Affaires Claudia Thomas congratulated Nestlé Pakistan on its achievements, highlighting the company’s role in aligning with Pakistan’s economic vision.
Beyond traditional exports, Nestlé Pakistan has created demand globally through digital marketing and impactful trade activations, ensuring strong on-shelf visibility in countries such as the United States, UK, UAE, and Australia. Last year, the company invested PKR 2 billion in renewable energy, installing solar power and biomass boilers at its local manufacturing sites. Nestlé Pakistan has also localized over 90% of its raw material sourcing, including 420 million liters of milk and substantial quantities of wheat, rice, and fruit, positively impacting local farmers’ livelihoods.
With four manufacturing sites, Nestlé Pakistan provides a range of nutritious products that contribute to balanced diets for millions across the country, delivering 2 billion servings last year alone.
