The price hike has left buyers frustrated, as many believe masks should be provided for free. Customers express concern over the high prices being charged.

Ordinary surgical masks, which previously cost Rs.5, are now being sold for Rs.10 at medical stores, while cloth decorative masks are being sold for Rs.100. The price of N95 masks has risen from Rs.250 to Rs.300, and decorative masks now range from Rs.60 to Rs.500 in the market.
