Two traffic accidents in Bhakkar on Sunday left three people dead and nine injured due to heavy smog.
In the first accident on MM Road, a passenger bus crashed into a parked trailer because of low visibility from the smog.
The bus driver and conductor died on the spot, and nine passengers were injured. Rescue teams reported that two of them were in critical condition.
The bus was traveling from Uch Sharif to Rawalpindi with around 50 passengers on board. Emergency teams gave initial medical aid at the scene.
All injured passengers were later transferred to the District Headquarters Hospital in Bhakkar. The deceased were also sent there for post-mortem examinations.
