A traffic warden in Faisalabad clung to a moving car after its driver allegedly ignored an order to stop, with footage of the dangerous incident going viral on social media.
The incident took place on Canal Road in Faisalabad.
According to reports, traffic warden Inam-ul-Haq signalled the motorist to stop so he could issue a traffic ticket. However, the driver allegedly accelerated instead of pulling over.
The warden then opened the vehicle’s door and held onto the moving car. A video of the incident shows the car continuing down the road while the officer remains hanging from the open door.

The vehicle reportedly dragged the traffic warden for a considerable distance. His uniform was also torn during the incident.
Despite the apparent danger, the report did not mention whether the warden suffered any serious injuries.
Traffic authorities later released the vehicle after the driver paid the traffic fine and apologised for his actions.
The viral video has raised concerns about road safety and the risks traffic officials face when motorists refuse to follow lawful instructions.
