I’ve taken this step to show our support and lift the spirits of our players. These heroes from Pakistan are our guests here in Australia, and we’ll make sure to give them a rousing reception in Brisbane.

This fan-driven show of support comes on the heels of Pakistan’s historic ODI series win in Perth which reawakened the passion in cricketing fans which was lost after a string of disappointing results both away and at home.

After ending their 22-year wait for a series win the 800 ticket-holding Pakistani fans will be hoping for a repeat in the three-match T20I series which will kick off on November 14.

The Pakistani fans in Brisbane are set to make The Gabba a sea of green, turning the stadium into a home away from home for the team.
