The Karachi Water Corporation has announced a special scheme offering a 35% discount on bulk payments of outstanding water bills. This initiative, launched under the instructions of Karachi Mayor Murtaza Wahab, provides citizens with an opportunity to clear their dues at a reduced cost.
According to a statement from the Water Corporation, the scheme is available until January 31, 2025, after which normal billing and penalties will resume. The offer is particularly aimed at defaulters who have not paid their water bills for several months.
Eligible customers who make full payments before the deadline will receive the discount. The corporation has encouraged residents to take advantage of this limited-time offer to avoid additional penalties.
The Karachi Water Corporation has warned that legal action will be taken against those who fail to clear their dues by the deadline. Defaulters may face disconnection of water and sewerage services. In extreme cases, water pumps installed at properties may also be confiscated.
Officials highlighted that the scheme is part of a broader effort to streamline billing processes and recover overdue amounts. Citizens are urged to visit their nearest Water Corporation office or contact the helpline for further details about the payment process.

So the one who have been paying their bills timely are fools???
Hahaha.. lol :)
Pani do nulo mein,
tanker mafia khatam karo
phir dengay bill.
The irony is we are forced to pay for the water that we don’t get. The water lines are dry since 2017 and we are paying the water bill, paying illegal tanker mafia and paying for filtered drinking water.
