Oppo has launched its new Reno13 and Reno13 Pro smartphones in China, bringing notable upgrades to both hardware and software. MediaTek’s new Dimensity 8350 chipset powers these devices and they come with Oppo’s in-house X1 chip, which enhances connectivity and performance. Along with a durable design offering IP69 ingress protection, the Reno13 series focuses on improving key aspects like display, camera quality, and battery performance.
The Reno13 series features a modern design with a large AMOLED display, offering a sleek, minimal look. The vanilla has a 6.59-inch AMOLED screen that supports FHD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. The Reno13 Pro however steps it up with a 6.83-inch AMOLED display, FHD+ resolution, and the same 120Hz refresh rate. Both devices have slim bezels and IP69 ingress protection.
The Reno13 and Reno13 Pro are powered by the Dimensity 8350 chipset. Oppo’s X1 chip adds value by improving wireless connectivity, and these phones run ColorOS 15, which is based on Android 15.
The Reno13 series features a 50MP main camera (IMX890) with Optical Image Stabilization (OIS), alongside an 8MP ultrawide lens. However, the Reno13 Pro adds a 50MP telephoto camera, which offers an 85mm equivalent focal length and 3.5x optical zoom, making it suitable for more detailed zoom shots. Both phones support 4K video recording at 60fps, making them capable of capturing high-quality photos and videos.
The Reno13 comes with a 5,600mAh battery, while the Reno13 Pro features a slightly larger 5,800mAh battery. The phones support 80W wired charging for quick charging times, as well as 50W wireless charging.
Pricing for the Reno13 starts at CNY 2,699 ($372) for the 12GB/256GB version, while the Reno13 Pro begins at CNY 3,399 ($470) for the 12GB/256GB model.
These devices are now available for pre-order in China, with shipments expected to begin on November 29.
