The Minister of State for IT and Telecommunication Shaza Fatima Khawaja over the weekend urged business users and freelancers to continue registering their IPs for uninterrupted access to virtual private networks (VPNs).
She said the government is fully cognizant of the need for secure communications and is working towards further smoothening the process of activation and usage of VPN, and till then situation will remain as is.
“We strongly urge users to continue registering their IPs through the PTA website”, she added.
What if the IPs are dynamic?
looks like instead of blocking VPN provider IPs , they have setup firewall to block anything that is detected as VPN traffic . But there are still ways to use VPN
She should first tell us why she lied about invent disruptions ?
She stated that it was sea cables issue . So how does registering affect cable damage ?
