Pakistan vs India Junior Hockey Asia Cup Final is set to take place today in Oman Stadium in Muscat. The two teams also played in the previous final, with India emerging victorious on that occasion by 2-1.
The Boys in Green will be looking to avenge their defeat and continue their unbeaten streak in the tournament to claim the coveted title. Pakistan stormed into the final of the tournament after defeating Japan 4-2 in the semi-final clash.
Abdul Hannan Shahid was the hero in the semi-final as he scored 2 goals to help his side win the match in a thrilling fashion. As for India, they reached the final after defeating Malaysia 3-1 in the other semi-final clash.
Both, Pakistan and India have been undefeated throughout the tournament, topping their respective groups with a perfect record. Pakistan’s Sufyan Khan has been the top scorer of the tournament with 10 goals already in his tally.
The final between the arch-rivals is scheduled to be held in Oman at 8:00 pm Pakistan Standard Time. The match will not be broadcasted live on any Television network in Pakistan but will be livestreamed on the official Facebook page of the Asian Hockey Federation.
