Two Indian-origin Canadian nationals have been arrested after Illinois State Police discovered over $40 million worth of cocaine in a semi-trailer truck near the Iowa state line, CBS reported.
The suspects, identified as 27-year-old Vanshpreet Singh and 36-year-old Manpreet Singh, both from Ontario, Canada, face multiple felony charges. These include possession of cocaine, possession with intent to deliver, and cocaine trafficking.
Both individuals are currently being held in the Henry County Jail as they await their court appearance.
