Pakistan’s opening batsman, Fakhar Zaman, is reportedly disillusioned with the Pakistan Cricket Board’s (PCB) handling of his situation, prompting the 33-year-old to reassess his future in international cricket.

Despite being a pivotal figure in Pakistan’s top order, Zaman’s exclusion from the national squad for the upcoming South Africa tour has left him frustrated, with sources suggesting he is contemplating a break from the game.

Fakhar Zaman, who has long been a reliable presence for Pakistan, is said to be upset by the PCB’s lack of communication regarding his omission. Although the board has cited concerns over his recent form and fitness, the absence of any clear indication of a return has left the seasoned opener feeling undervalued.
