Top shareholders of Mitchells Fruit Farms Limited (PSX: MFFL) have decided against selling their shares to CCL Holding Private Limited.
“Mitchell’s Fruit Farms Limited (the Company) has received notice from two of its substantial shareholders Syeda Maimanat Mohsin and Syeda Matanat Ghaffar that they have decided not to proceed with discussions regarding the acquisition of their shares by CCL Holding (Pvt.) Limited,” the company’s stock filing stated on Monday.
This comes after the company’s notice last month whereby shareholders were exploring strategic options including potential divestment of their entire stake in the company.
MFFL is principally engaged in the manufacture and sale of various farm and confectionery products.
