The School Education Department has made a commendable decision: moving forward, teachers holding a master’s degree in commerce will be eligible for promotions.
A committee established to determine academic equivalence has decided that an M.Com degree will be considered equivalent to an MBA. Additionally, the M.Com degree will be regarded as equivalent to B.Com (Honors) and BS Commerce, recognizing it as a 16-year degree.
