Balochistan CM Hands Over Scooter Keys to Female Students

Balochistan Chief Minister Sarfaraz Bugti distributed scooters to Quetta Girls Postgraduate College students during a ceremony held at the Chief Minister’s Secretariat. Education Minister Raheela Hameed Durrani, the college principal, and the families of the students attended the event.

During the ceremony, the Chief Minister announced employment opportunities for the students’ brothers, showcasing the government’s commitment to supporting families across the province.

Chief Minister Bugti emphasized that women’s empowerment remains a key priority for the provincial government. He highlighted that the Pink Scooty Scheme is part of a larger initiative aimed at facilitating women’s development and improving their mobility.

He further stated that the scheme would be expanded to benefit more students in the province, ensuring that deserving, talented, and hardworking students receive support.

Reflecting on his background, Bugti underscored the importance of uplifting the middle class, reiterating that he belongs to a middle-class family and understands their challenges.

The Pink Scooty Scheme, which was launched last month, saw the distribution of 50 scooters to female students. The Chief Minister assured that this initiative would continue to grow, benefiting a greater number of outstanding students across Balochistan.
