Punjab Continues Domination at the Inter-Provincial Games

Punjab continued its dominance at the Quaid-e-Azam Inter-Provincial Games, leading the medal tally with an impressive 131 medals, including 64 gold, 42 silver, and 25 bronze. The event, organized by the Pakistan Sports Board (PSB) at various venues of the Pakistan Sports Complex in Islamabad, witnessed fierce competition among provinces, but none have managed to make a dent in Punjab’s progress.

In total, 366 medals have been distributed so far in the competition, including 107 gold, 107 silver, and 152 bronze medals.

The 3rd Quaid-e-Azam Inter-Provincial Youth Games are taking place from December 13 to 18, 2024, at the Pakistan Sports Complex in Islamabad. The event has brought together athletes from Sindh, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP), Punjab, Gilgit-Baltistan, Balochistan, Islamabad Capital Territory, and Azad Jammu & Kashmir (AJK).

Approximately 3,500 sportspersons, team officials, and technical officials are attending the games, which provide a vibrant platform for athletes aged 22 and under to showcase their skills across multiple disciplines.

The games have featured intense competition in 16 disciplines, with male and female athletes participating in most categories.
