Owning exotic animals, including big cats, has become a status symbol among some affluent individuals.

Recently, a YouTuber named Rajab Butt was arrested for illegally keeping a lion cub and openly displaying firearms.

Authorities, along with the Wildlife Department, conducted a raid on Butt’s residence in the Chuhng area after reports emerged of his possession of wildlife without proper licensing. The lion cub, reportedly gifted to him during his wedding, was confiscated during the operation.
