With the start of snowfall in Murree Hills, the City Traffic Police has issued a precautionary advisory for tourists traveling to the area.
Chief Traffic Officer Mughees Ahmad Hashmi stated that the traffic police are fully prepared to assist visitors and ensure a safe experience. Tourists are advised to fill their vehicles’ fuel tanks before traveling, use tire chains in slippery conditions, and prefer four-wheel drive or technically sound vehicles for the journey.
Emphasizing strict adherence to traffic rules, Hashmi warned that no violations would be tolerated. He urged commuters to avoid parking in no-parking zones to maintain smooth traffic flow. Highlighting the importance of cooperation, he assured that the efforts of the traffic police aim to make visitors’ trips to Murree safe and enjoyable.
