Champions Trophy 2025: Pakistan Considers Easing Visa Policy for Fans

Pakistan is considering a significant move to facilitate travel for cricket fans and officials attending the forthcoming ICC Champions Trophy by announcing a more lenient visa policy.  The proposed visa policy would ease travel for individuals from across the globe, including India, ensuring that cricket remains a bridge for fostering goodwill and sportsmanship.

Inclusive Visa Policy Under Consideration

Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting, Attaullah Tarar, revealed during a media briefing at Pindi Stadium that Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi, who also heads the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), is finalising a travel-friendly visa policy in collaboration with the Foreign Office.

“All fans and concerned officials travelling from all parts of the world, including from India, will be welcomed to watch and perform their respective duties,said Tarar.A visa policy to facilitate travel is under consideration by Mohsin Naqvi’s Interior Ministry and Foreign Office.”
