A devastating traffic accident in Tandlianwala, Punjab, claimed the lives of six family members, including women and young children, leaving three others injured. The accident occurred amid dense fog that severely reduced visibility on the roads.
According to reports, the incident took place in a suburban area when the family’s car collided with a tractor-trolley loaded with sugarcane. The children who lost their lives were between the ages of 3 and 6. The injured family members were rushed to a nearby hospital for medical treatment.
The family, originally from Lahore, was traveling to Tandlianwala after exiting the motorway when the tragedy struck. Authorities revealed that the driver of the tractor-trolley fled the scene, but the vehicle has been confiscated.
Police have registered a case against the absconding driver and launched an investigation into the incident. This tragic accident highlights the dangers of driving in low-visibility conditions, especially during the foggy winter season.
