Redmi is gearing up to launch the Redmi Turbo 4 in China, with the device expected to debut in early January. According to a recent leak on Weibo, the launch is set for January 2. The leaked images have given fans a first glimpse of the phone’s design.
Have a look below.
Leaked images showcase a sleek, modern design featuring a vertical dual-camera setup on the back. The phone boasts flat edges and is likely to have a flat front screen as well. A vertical line running along the back panel suggests a dual-tone finish, and the “Redmi” branding is visible towards the bottom-right corner of the rear panel.
According to tipster DCS, the design is more refined and minimalistic, with a glass body that gives it a premium look. The restrained color palette adds to its appeal. Interestingly, the design reportedly pays homage to a classic element from the Redmi K series.
Meanwhile, tipster Smart Pikachu has nicknamed the device “MPhone,” hinting at design cues reminiscent of the iPhone 16. People have given similar nicknames to Oppo devices like the Oppo Reno 13 and Find X8, drawing comparisons to Apple’s design.
The Redmi Turbo 4 will feature an impressive 6.67-inch AMOLED display with 1.5K resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate, ensuring a smooth and vibrant viewing experience. Powering this device will be MediaTek’s Dimensity 8400 chipset, paired with up to 16 GB of LPDDR5x RAM and a substantial 512 GB of UFS 4.0 storage. Furthermore, the Redmi Turbo 4 will launch with HyperOS 2, built on the robust foundation of Android 15.
The Turbo 4 reportedly features a 20MP front-facing camera for photography, along with a dual-camera system on the rear. The main 50MP sensor will reportedly feature optical image stabilization (OIS), accompanied by an 8MP secondary camera.
In terms of battery performance, the Redmi Turbo 4 will likely house a large 6,550 mAh battery, supporting 90W fast charging for quick power-ups.
