PIA Clarifies Reports About Changes to Its Logo and Aircraft Design

Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) has clarified that reports of changes to its logo and aircraft design are inaccurate, according to a statement from a PIA spokesperson. The spokesperson confirmed that there are no plans to alter the airline’s long-established logo or the design of its planes.

The national carrier’s logo remains unchanged, and all decisions related to the branding and design of the aircraft are subject to approval by the board and relevant ministries.

Additionally, the statement affirmed that there have been no modifications to the tail flag or the overall design of PIA’s aircraft.

In other news, Air Vice Marshal Amir Hayat has been reappointed as the acting CEO of PIA. A notification from the Pakistani government confirmed the appointment following the recommendation of the PIA Board of Directors.

Hayat will serve as acting CEO until a permanent appointment is made, succeeding Khurram Mushtaq, who had been fulfilling the duties in an acting capacity.
