Pakistan Receives 100 Tons of Dates as Gift From Saudi Arabia

On Thursday, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia presented Pakistan with 100 tons of dates, symbolizing goodwill and solidarity between the two fraternal nations.

A formal handover ceremony took place at the Royal Embassy of Saudi Arabia in Islamabad, where Ambassador Nawaf bin Said Al-Malki and Abdullah Al-Baqami, Director of the King Salman Humanitarian Aid & Relief Centre (KSrelief), officially handed over the consignment to Brigadier Alamgeer Ayub, Director General of the Military Wing.

Continuing its annual tradition of generosity, the Saudi government, led by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, reaffirmed its commitment to supporting Pakistan through this meaningful gesture.

The gift highlights the enduring bonds of friendship and brotherhood between the two countries, grounded in shared values of generosity and mutual support.

Brigadier Alamgeer Ayub thanked the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and the Saudi leadership for their consistent generosity and support.

“This noble act of solidarity not only strengthens our ties but also reflects the deep relationship our nations hold dear,” he said.

The annual donation of dates exemplifies Saudi Arabia’s commitment to humanitarian outreach and fostering strong bilateral relations with Pakistan.
