Sri Lankan Skipper Joins the PSL 10 Draft

The Pakistan Super League (PSL) added a significant name to its roster as Sri Lanka’s white-ball captain Charith Asalanka officially entered the player draft for the upcoming 10th edition. He becomes the first Sri Lankan player to register for this year’s draft.

The PSL’s official social media handles unveiled the news with a captivating banner and the caption: “A class act! Sri Lankan ODI and T20I captain Charith Asalanka enters the #PSLDraft.”

The 27-year-old all-rounder has been a cornerstone of Sri Lankan cricket since his international debut in 2021. Charith Asalanka was named captain of Sri Lanka’s white-ball teams in July 2024, succeeding Wanindu Hasaranga in the leadership role.
