4 Islamabad Police SHOs Suspended for Negligence in Duties

Four station house officers (SHOs) in Islamabad have been suspended for negligence in duty and failure to control crime, according to a report by 24NewsHD TV channel on Tuesday.

The SHO of Noon police station, Sharafat Ali, has been penalized with three years of service confiscation and a one-year promotion suspension. Meanwhile, SHOs Muhammad Yousuf of Shams Colony, Irshad Ahmed of Sabzi Mandi, and Ashfaq Warraich of Secretariat police stations have each been handed two years of service confiscation.

Additionally, a Dolphin Squad official has been dismissed from service following a bribery complaint.

Deputy Inspector General (DIG) of Islamabad Police, Syed Ali Raza, emphasized that there is no tolerance for corruption within the department. He warned that any officer found exceeding their authority or neglecting their duties would face strict legal and departmental action.
