According to industry insider Mark Gurman, Apple is gearing up to launch its much-awaited iPhone SE refresh along with new iPad models.
The iPhone SE has reportedly entered the testing phase with iOS 18.3, and all signs point to its release before the rollout of iOS 18.4. Gurman predicts that both the iPhone SE and the iPad will debut by April 2025.

Apple seems determined to make the iPhone SE refresh stand out by incorporating a fresh design and advanced features. Rumored to adopt the look of the iPhone 14, the device features a 10-inch Super Retina XDR OLED display with a notch and Face ID functionality. Furthermore, Apple plans to power the new SE with its latest A18 chip, paired with 8 GB of RAM. This combination promises a substantial boost in performance and full compatibility with Apple Intelligence features.
The iPhone SE will reportedly come equipped with a 48MP rear camera and a 12MP front-facing camera. At a rumored starting price of $499, the SE refresh could appeal to a wider range of customers who value value and performance.

Gurman also revealed that the company is preparing to launch multiple new iPads. Apple is expected to debut an updated baseline iPad with a more powerful chipset and Apple Intelligence support, making it a more capable device for everyday tasks.
