The World’s Happiest Workplaces 2025 list, published on Tuesday, recognized Nestlé, Unilever, and Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) as some of the happiest workplaces in Pakistan, according to a press release.
The list was compiled by WorkL, an employee experience platform that evaluates employee engagement and workplace happiness.
According to the press release, other top-ranking workplaces in Pakistan included Bank Alfalah, Pakistan Super League (PSL), the University of Karachi, Pakistan State Oil, Alltech, HBL Bank, Meezan Bank, Pakistan Petroleum, Jadeed, and Factory X.
Organizations in Pakistan that achieved an overall happiness score of 95% included Titanicofficial, Unique Cycle Industry, Zong, Fazal Paper Mills, Infiniti Software, Bestway Cement, MCB Bank Limited, Mobilink, Flip Communication, Bank of Punjab, and Attock Refinery Limited.
Globally, South Africa’s DiFusion Technologies secured the top spot with a perfect happiness score of 100%, followed by The Pavilion Shopping Centre in second place and the U.S.-based Avis Budget Group in third.
Over 100,000 organizations participated in the 2025 awards, with over a million employees completing the Happy at Work Test to qualify their organizations. The anonymous test assessed various factors, including well-being, job satisfaction, rewards and recognition, information sharing, empowerment, and fostering pride. Organizations scoring 70% or higher were included in the rankings.
