Admissions for 32 private medical colleges in Punjab are set to start on January 21 and will remain open until January 30. Applicants can submit their forms through the University of Health Sciences (UHS) online portal.
This year, the admission process will be conducted under a centralized policy. All admissions, including those for Azra Naheed Medical College, will be managed exclusively by UHS.
A meeting of UHS officials, stakeholders, and vice chancellors is expected soon to finalise the standard operating procedures (SOPs) for private medical institutions.
According to sources, a reduction in tuition fees for private medical colleges is anticipated this year. The federal government will be responsible for determining the revised fee structure.
The centralized policy aims to ensure transparency and uniformity in the admission process for all private medical colleges across the province.
