Previously available in Islamabad, Karachi, Lahore, Peshawar, Quetta, Sialkot, and Multan, the service has now been extended to 47 locations, including 26 newly added areas.
The newly included cities are Attock, Haripur, Chakwal, Batkhela, Sargodha, Swabi, Bhalwal, Nowshera, Hafizabad, Karak, Mianwali, Mansehra, Bhakkar, Muzaffarabad, Kohat, Mirpur (AJK), Dera Ismail Khan, Bagh, Swat, Rawalakot, Abbottabad, Kotli, Bannu, Sudhanoti, Hangu, and Bhimber.
This expansion aims to make the passport application process faster and more convenient for people in these regions.
Zonal heads have been instructed to implement the service at the new locations to ensure a smooth rollout. Additionally, the Director (Databases) has been tasked with updating the Passport Processing System (PPS) to reflect the changes and integrate the new cities into the Fast Track category.
The notification, issued by Assistant Director (Policy-I) Hafiz Abdul Nasir, has been shared with all relevant authorities, including Pakistan Post, to ensure proper implementation. By expanding the Fast Track service, the Directorate General seeks to reduce waiting times and enhance the overall efficiency of passport issuance in the newly added areas.
