A crackdown has been launched against Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) officials, with disciplinary action initiated against three officers stationed at Karachi’s Jinnah International Airport, according to 24NewsHD TV.
Those named include Deputy Director Ali Murad and Assistant Directors Rashid Bhatti and Wasiullah. An investigation has been ordered into the officers’ activities at the airport.
A three-member team has been established to lead the inquiry, headed by Additional Director General North Cyber Crime, Mujahid Akbar. Other members include FIA Director Admin Shakeel Ahmed and FIA Karachi Director Muhammad Noman.
Additionally, Deputy Director Mian Rab Nawaz has been assigned to monitor and report on the investigation’s progress.
