The United Arab Emirates has introduced a groundbreaking multi-entry visit visa that allows foreign nationals to visit relatives and friends without requiring a local sponsor or guarantor. This visa offers flexible stay options of 30, 60, or 90 days, according to Gulf News.
The visa accommodates various travel needs. Applicants can visit close family members, such as parents, children, siblings, or spouses, by submitting proof of relationship, such as marriage or birth certificates. Friends may also apply for the visa by providing valid reasons for their visit, such as attending significant events or spending time with close associates.
Applications can be submitted through the General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs (GDRFA) website, mobile app, or service centers across the UAE.
Required Documents:
A valid passport with at least six months of validity
Two recent passport-sized photographs
Financial proof
Employment or business documents (e.g., salary certificate, partnership agreement, or business license)
In addition to the visa fee, applicants must pay a refundable deposit of AED 2,000 (approx. Rs151,700) as financial security, along with minor administrative charges. Medical insurance is mandatory, costing between AED 40 and AED 90 (approx. Rs3,034 to Rs6,825), depending on the visa duration.
