The government of Pakistan is preparing to introduce a new initiative, titled “Ghar Se Ghar Tak”, designed to provide seamless facilitation to Hajj 2025 pilgrims from their departure to their return, as reported by ARY News.
Under this policy, official guides (nazmeen) will be appointed to assist pilgrims throughout their Hajj journey. According to sources, a total of 600 nazmeen will be designated, with each guide responsible for assisting 150 pilgrims. These guides will accompany the pilgrims from Pakistan to Saudi Arabia and back, ensuring safe travel and offering guidance on performing Hajj rituals.
In addition to travel assistance, the nazmeen will also manage accommodation arrangements in Saudi Arabia and provide support during the rituals. The Ministry of Religious Affairs emphasized that the nazmeen will play a pivotal role in enabling pilgrims to perform their religious duties efficiently.
Pilgrims will be informed about their assigned nazmeen once the flight schedules are finalized.
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has expressed a strong commitment to ensuring top-notch services for Hajj pilgrims. During a meeting to review preparations for Hajj 2025, the Prime Minister emphasized that no negligence would be tolerated in facilitating the pilgrims.
“Pilgrims are the guests of Allah Almighty, and their service is our sacred responsibility,” said PM Shehbaz.
He directed authorities to provide a comprehensive briefing on preparations for Hajj 2025, including the selection criteria and responsibilities of the Moavineen Hajj (Hajj assistants). The PM also stressed ensuring all possible facilities to make the pilgrimage experience smooth and comfortable for the Hujjaj.
This new policy aims to enhance the overall experience for Hajj pilgrims by addressing logistical and operational challenges, making their spiritual journey as seamless as possible.
