A suspect involved in selling kites online, both domestically and internationally, has been arrested in Lahore.
According to the police, the suspect, Ejaz, was caught while delivering a supply of kites in the inner city. During questioning, it was revealed that he operated a kite-manufacturing factory in the Gulshan Ravi area.
The police raided the factory and seized thousands of kites along with raw materials worth millions. It was discovered that the suspect sold these kites online to customers both within the country and abroad.
DIG Operations Faisal Kamran stated that shutting down the factory will significantly help in curbing the dangerous practice of kite flying.
