Pakistani student Rania Ali has earned recognition as the best delegate at the Harvard Model United Nations (HMUN) conference held in Dubai.
Hosted by Harvard University, it is one of the largest MUN conferences in the world, attracting 1,000 delegates from more than 35 countries to showcase their diplomatic, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Ali’s outstanding performance in diplomacy and critical thinking led her to claim the top award. “Representing Pakistan on an international stage is a great honor,” Ali said, adding that she takes pride in presenting a positive image of her country to the world.
The Harvard MUN provides an opportunity for young people globally to engage in discussions and offer solutions to some of the world’s biggest challenges. Ali’s success demonstrates Pakistan’s potential to excel on global platforms.
Her achievement comes on the heels of another notable success by Pakistani youth, Shehram Wasi, who also received the top honor at the same conference. Shehram’s award is especially significant as he is one of the youngest delegates to ever receive this distinction.
