The Inland Revenue Service Officers Association (IRSOA) has strongly rejected Senator Faisal Vawda’s allegations that Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) officials were threatening to kill him for calling out their decision to buy 1,000+ cars for young officers.
IRSOA on Thursday dismissed Vauda’s claims as baseless and an attempt to hurt the reputation of civil servants.
The association also refuted claims of any misconduct and said FBR officers uphold ethical standards and that the procurement of 1,010 Honday Citys adhered to federal cabinet and austerity committee approvals. The association urged Vawda to provide evidence through legal channels rather than making public accusations.
IRSOA warned to pursue legal action if necessary.
Vawda Thursday alleged that he has received death threats and warning that his business will be destroyed. While BR now denies it, committee chairman Saleem Mandviwalla also backed Vawda’s claims and said he received similar threats.

it should not be on the public money…. Is there any authority in Pakistan that can check that an association is being run in a government body – FBR ?
