Astronomy enthusiasts in Pakistan will miss out on witnessing celestial events this year, as two solar and two lunar eclipses are set to occur in 2025, but none will be visible from the country, according to a report by 24NewsHD TV.
Lunar Eclipses in 2025
- The first lunar eclipse will take place on March 14 at 8:57 AM. However, it will not be visible in Pakistan due to daylight hours.
- The second lunar eclipse is scheduled for the night of September 7 and 8, beginning at 8:28 PM and ending at 1:55 AM. This eclipse will be visible in Asia and Europe, including Pakistan.
Solar Eclipses in 2025
- The first solar eclipse of the year will occur on March 29, but it will not be visible in Pakistan.
- The second solar eclipse is set to take place between September 21 and 22, but Pakistanis will once again miss out on witnessing this astronomical event.
The Meteorological Department has confirmed that both solar eclipses will remain out of sight for Pakistan. While skywatchers in other parts of the world may get a chance to experience these eclipses, Pakistan will have to wait for future celestial events to catch a glimpse of the cosmic spectacle.
