Saudi Arabia’s Budget Airline Announces Direct Flights Between Karachi and Madinah

Saudi Arabia’s budget airline, Flynas, has announced the launch of direct flights between Karachi and Madinah, set to begin on March 5, 2025.

The airline will operate two non-stop flights per week, connecting Jinnah International Airport in Karachi with Prince Mohammad bin Abdulaziz International Airport in Madinah.

Madinah serves as one of Flynas’ four major operational hubs, and the airline is actively expanding its network to strengthen its presence in key markets. The new route is part of Flynas’ broader strategy to increase connectivity and provide more travel options for passengers.

Currently, Flynas operates more than 1,500 flights every week, linking over 70 domestic and international destinations. The airline’s expansion aligns with Saudi Arabia’s larger aviation goals, which aim to connect 250 international destinations to the Kingdom and serve 330 million passengers annually by 2030.

Additionally, Saudi Arabia is working towards attracting 100 million tourists per year as part of its Vision 2030 initiative. By adding new routes like Karachi to Madinah, Flynas continues to support the country’s tourism and economic diversification efforts.

The airline’s growth plays a crucial role in strengthening Saudi Arabia’s position as a global travel hub while offering more accessible and convenient flight options for international travelers.
