KP Government Plans New Routes for Bus Rapid Transit

The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government has announced plans to expand the Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) project to improve public transportation.

This decision was made during a recent meeting focused on the BRT network’s expansion. The meeting included key officials such as the Secretary of Transport and the CEO of TransPeshawar.

Haji Rangiz Ahmad, Special Assistant to the Chief Minister for Transport, confirmed that the BRT service will extend from Shah Alam Staff on Charsadda Road to Naguman Staff, and further to Warsak and Khyber Roads in Peshawar.

The expansion aims to enhance accessibility and provide better transportation options for the public. Feasibility studies for these new routes are being prioritized to ensure swift implementation. Ahmad emphasized that the BRT project is designed to offer state-of-the-art services and contribute to the province’s economic growth.
