The federal government has scheduled a four-day meeting of the Central Selection Board (CSB) starting March 10 to consider promotions for 1,000 officers to grades 20 and 21.
A notification from the Establishment Division confirmed the meeting, stating that the agenda and working papers will be released soon.
The board will review and approve promotions from grade 19 to 20 and grade 20 to 21. Federal Public Service Commission Chairman Lt-Gen (R) Akhtar Nawaz Sati will preside over the meeting.
Meanwhile, a High-Powered Selection Board (HPSB) meeting is expected at the end of the month to consider promotions from BS-21 to BS-22. More than 40 officers will be promoted to grade 22 in that session.
