The process will start at 11 AM (local time) through the authority’s official website. Permits will be issued via the online platform, following specific conditions and criteria set by the authorities.

Itikaf, a religious practice observed in Ramadan, involves secluding oneself in a mosque for dedicated worship and prayer during the last ten days of the holy month. This year, Itikaf will begin on Ramadan 20 (March 20) and continue until the end of the month.

Following the tradition of Prophet Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him), Itikaf offers a unique opportunity to strengthen one’s connection with Allah, free from daily distractions.

With Ramadan starting on March 1 in Saudi Arabia and March 2 in Pakistan, thousands of worshippers are expected to participate in Itikaf at the two sacred mosques.
