Strong winds and thick fog have worsened the situation, making travel dangerous. Several areas are also experiencing power outages due to the harsh weather. In Galiyat, authorities have restricted entry from Barian and Harno, citing unsafe road conditions.
According to Galiyat DSP Imtiaz, the restrictions aim to ensure public safety as snowfall has made travel nearly impossible. Rescue teams remain on high alert, assisting stranded travelers and working to restore road access.
Officials urge the public to check weather conditions and avoid unnecessary travel until conditions improve.
