Realme has expanded its 14 Pro series by introducing the Realme 14 Pro Lite, joining the previously launched Realme 14 Pro and 14 Pro+. Despite carrying the “Pro” branding, the Pro Lite is a lower-tier model.
The Realme 14 Pro Lite features a 6.7-inch Full HD+ OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and an impressive 2,000 nits peak brightness for clear visibility even in bright outdoor conditions. It is protected by Gorilla Glass 7i, ensuring durability against scratches and minor drops.
The phone comes in Glass Gold and Glass Purple color options, giving it a premium look despite its mid-range positioning. However, unlike the Realme 14 Pro, which has an IP68/69 rating and MIL-STD-810H certification, the Pro Lite settles for an IP65 rating, making it less resistant to extreme conditions.
Powering the Realme 14 Pro Lite is the Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 SoC, offering efficient performance for everyday tasks and gaming. The phone comes with 8GB of RAM and up to 256GB of storage, providing ample space for apps and media.
One downside is that Realme equips the 14 Pro and Pro+ with Android 15-based Realme UI 6.0, while the Pro Lite remains stuck with Realme UI 5.0 based on Android 14, missing out on the latest software features and optimizations at launch.
The 14 Pro Lite boasts a 50MP primary camera (Sony LYT-600 sensor) with OIS, an 8MP ultrawide camera with a 112° field of view, and a 32MP selfie camera for high-quality self-portraits and video calls. This camera setup ensures versatile photography options, though it doesn’t include the higher-end zoom capabilities found in the Pro+ model.
A 5,200mAh battery fuels the device along with 45W fast charging, similar to the 14 Pro, but smaller battery capacity than the Pro’s 6,000mAh unit.
The Realme 14 Pro Lite is available in India through Flipkart and Realme’s official website. The 8GB/128GB model is priced at INR 21,999 ($250/€240), while the 8GB/256GB variant costs INR 23,999 ($275/€260).
