The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) announced on Tuesday that batting consultant Mohammad Yousuf has withdrawn from the national team’s upcoming white-ball tour of New Zealand due to personal reasons.
According to the PCB, the former captain opted out of the tour to attend to his ailing daughter and has informed the board of his decision. Despite Yousuf’s unavailability, the PCB has not named a replacement for the batting consultant role.
The national men’s team is scheduled to depart for New Zealand on Wednesday morning for the tour, which includes five T20 Internationals (T20Is) and three One Day Internationals (ODIs). The matches will take place between March 16 and April 5 across various venues in New Zealand.
