Pak Elektron Limited (PEL), a leading Pakistani electrical equipment manufacturer, has successfully launched its export operations to the United States, according to a notification sent to the Pakistan Stock Exchange.
The company announced that its first consignment of transformers departed from Pakistan on March 13, 2025, marking a significant milestone in PEL’s international expansion strategy.
“This marks a significant milestone in our business expansion strategy and reflects our commitment to exploring new international markets,” stated the disclosure.
PEL’s entry into the American market represents a notable achievement for Pakistan’s manufacturing sector, potentially opening doors for increased exports of electrical equipment to developed markets. The company emphasized its dedication to “enhancing its global footprint and delivering high-quality products to its customers worldwide.
Pak Elektron Ltd. was incorporated in Pakistan on March 3, 1956 as a public limited company under the Companies Act 1913 (now Companies Act 2017). The principal activity of the company is manufacturing and sale of electrical capital goods and domestic appliances. The company is organized in two divisions – Power and Appliances.
