Sindh to Offer Rs. 25,000 to Students Under New Scholarship

The Sindh government has introduced a scholarship program to assist students from minority communities in continuing their education. The initiative aims to provide financial support to deserving students from low-income families.

According to the provincial minority affairs department, students who passed their exams last year with at least 50% marks are eligible to apply. Additionally, applicants must belong to a minority community and be permanent residents of Sindh.

The scholarships are designated for students whose parents earn Rs. 35,000 or less per month, with each recipient receiving a grant of Rs. 25,000.

This initiative is part of the government’s effort to ensure inclusive education and provide financial assistance to underprivileged students.

In a separate development, the Sindh government recently launched a job portal to connect citizens with employment opportunities in both the public and private sectors. The portal aims to simplify job searches and improve access to career opportunities.

The launch event was attended by Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah, PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, Senior Minister Sharjeel Inam Memon, and business leaders. Officials emphasized that the platform would help job seekers find suitable employment based on their skills and qualifications.
