Haider Ali Optimistic About Participating in PSL X

Pakistani batsman Haider Ali is looking forward to a strong comeback in the upcoming PSL season X, scheduled to run from April 11 to May 18 across Karachi, Lahore, Multan, and Rawalpindi. The Islamabad United representative remains confident of participating in the tournament despite nursing a wrist injury sustained during the Bangladesh Premier League.

Haider Ali has taken proactive steps toward recovery, announcing that he will soon head to the National Cricket Academy for rehabilitation and further training. “I’m working hard and hope to return to the Pakistan Super League this year,” he added, reflecting his determination to overcome the injury and make a notable impact in the tournament.

It is the same injury that kept the promising batter out of the team selected for the tour of New Zealand, despite his recent upturn in form. After bursting onto the cricketing scene, Haider Ali struggled to secure a place in the national team due to inconsistent performances. However, he appeared to have finally overcome his challenges during his recent stint in the BPL with Chittagong Kings, where his role as an aggressive hitter and an impressive strike-rate of 185.84 earned him widespread praise.

PSL X also offers Haider Ali an opportunity to showcase his immense talent once again and earn his way back into the national squad as he fights to revive his career.

The batter expressed heartfelt gratitude to his fans for their unwavering support during his recovery, promising to repay their faith with outstanding performances upon his return to the PSL. As the tournament approaches, supporters are eagerly anticipating his comeback, confident that his resilience and talent will shine through on the big stage.
