Realme’s heavily teased Ultra phone has arrived as part of the brand’s P series of phones. The Realme P3 Ultra offers a variety of color options with different back panel materials as well as a powerful upper mid-range chip for cheap.
The Realme P3 Ultra can be picked in three different color options, one of which can turn green in the dark. The Neptune Blue and Orion Red versions have vegan leather backs for a premium feeling finish, while the Glowing Lunar White takes the “Lunar” part very seriously with a moon-themed back panel crafted with a “Starlight Ink Process”. It has a micro-sculpted lunar soil-like texture and shimmering particles.
The screen is an ever so slightly curved AMOLED panel sized 6.83 inches diagonally with 1080p resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. This screen can reach peak brightness levels of 1500 nits, which makes for good sunlight viewing, and is protected by Gorilla Glass 7i, which is not the best in class, but still tough. The optical fingerprint sensor resides underneath the screen.
You also get IP66, IP68, and IP69 water and dust protection ratings.
The Realme P3 Ultra comes with an Ultra variant of the Dimensity 8350, though it’s probably just a marketing term since there aren’t many performance enhancements. The Dimensity 8350 doesn’t need it either since it is already a considerably powerful chipset for the mid-range segment. It can be paired with 8 to 12 GB RAM and 128 GB/256 GB storage. There is no memory card slot.
The software side is covered by Android 15 with Realme UI 6.0 on top. The phone is promised to get 2 years of OS upgrades and 3 years of security patches.
The dual camera setup on the back includes a 50MP primary shooter based on Sony’s IMX896 sensor with OIS and a 24mm equivalent lens. The second camera is an 8MP ultrawide unit and the selfie camera is a 16MP snapper. The main camera can record 60 fps footage in both 1080p and 4K resolution. 4K 60 fps is rare to see in the budget segment and comes courtesy of the powerful Dimensity 8350 chipset.
There is a humongous 6,000 mAh battery onboard which should have no issues charging up quickly thanks to the 80W wired charging support.
The starting price for the Realme P3 Ultra is $312. The phone is available in India at the moment, but should hopefully come to Pakistan soon enough.
