Govt Concludes Interview Process for Appointing New SECP Commissioner

The Finance Minister Led committee has finalized the interview for the position of Commissioner Securities Exchange Commission of Pakistan.

Sources told ProPakistani that four out of five candidates appeared before the interview panel. This includes former Managing Director PASCO Captain (R) Saeed, Executive Director (ED) SECP Bilal Rasool, ED Muzaffar Mirza, and Shaista Bano.

Sources said that the Finance Ministry will forward a summary to the Prime Minister for the approval of Commissioner SECP.

Sources said ED SECP Muzaffar Mirza is a favorite for this position as he is considered close to the incumbent regime.
