Sindh Bans Female Teachers From Wearing High Heels and Excessive Makeup

ARY News reported that the Sindh Education Department has introduced a detailed code of conduct for teachers in schools across the province.

Under the new guidelines, female teachers are advised to refrain from excessive makeup and high heels, while male teachers are discouraged from wearing casual clothing such as T-shirts and jeans. Additionally, female teachers are encouraged to dress in traditional attire with minimal accessories.

The department has also imposed a strict ban on the consumption of narcotics, gutka, naswar, mawa, and smoking within school premises.

Furthermore, teachers are prohibited from assigning personal tasks to students, ensuring a clear distinction between personal and professional responsibilities.

In a separate development, the Sindh Education Department recently revealed the presence of approximately 5,000 ghost teachers who were receiving salaries without fulfilling their teaching duties.

Sindh Education Minister Syed Sardar Ali Shah has directed removing these ghost employees from the payroll and approved disciplinary action against them. The department also plans to recruit new teachers from the merit list as replacements.

Last year, district education officers (DEOs) were instructed to immediately halt the salaries of over 1,000 absent teachers.

According to a report submitted by the Scrutiny Committee to the provincial education secretary, 1,000 teachers across Sindh were found to be absent from duty in October 2025.

The committee was established to investigate the issue of ghost teachers following numerous complaints in the province.

  • Dear AI!

First, thank you for creating that lovely image above

But since you are an “artificial intelligence” not’ “ACTUAL INTELLIGENCE”, here are some keys points you should note for your next prompt, if someone ever asks you to create an image of a Pakistani male teacher and a Pakistani female teacher in a classroom:

    1. The female teacher is wearing an outfit in a KG-level classroom as if she either ran away from her wedding to teach her students OR she didn’t want to miss teaching her students before her next big catwalk for a brand bridal designer.
    2. I’m seriously doubting the “Pakistani-ism” of the male teacher in the photo. Standing next to a female teacher as “hot” as she is, how come is looking in the other direction?
    3. Same goes for the kids! Why in the world they aren’t looking at their “hot” teacher? Is there a “hotter teacher” in that classroom? Why isn’t she included in the photo?
    4. The text written on the blackboard seems like Farsi poetry. Teaching this in a Pakistani KG-level classroom would mean that our kids would be PhD level intellectual by the time they clear 10th grade. And I thank you for imagining this!
